Challenge

The world-class homes at superbly located 11-39 Blue Pool Road occupy a long and narrow site in the hilly district of Happy Valley.

The development was designed by architects Ronald Lu & Partners and Kohn Pederson Fox (KPF) Associates and completed in 2014. 

The project was created with sustainability and liveability in mind. It became the first project in Greater China to earn a Gold certification from the US Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes International Pilot.

Ultra high quality ironmongery products were required for the three-floor luxury townhouses. Fittings had to express the spirit of the development, and provide a high level of security.

Solution

KeyTech enhanced the specification for this luxury development after thoroughly understanding the architects’ exact requirements.

The high quality, high tech solutions totally fulfilled the project’s aesthetic and security needs. 

Simulated bronze door hardware matched the entrance façade doors and cast-bronze privacy screens. The satin chrome-plated finish on the interior hardware reflects a cosy luxury. 

Concealed contactless sensors give a seamless, elegant look to bathroom and walk-in closet automatic glass doors.

Successful completion

KeyTech solutions helped establish 11-39 Blue Pool Road as an iconic luxury development. The project introduced a new townhouse-style concept to the exclusive Happy Valley neighbourhood.

In the 2014/15 Architectural Ironmongery Specification Awards, KeyTech won third place for 11-39 Blue Pool Road under the International Category.
